It’s pretty slow at work today so I figured I’d take my lunch break to write. So, my work mobile get’s internet and the default news site is CNN. Some of the headlines are examples of responsible and relevant reporting. Other headlines make it look like they’re competing with John Stewart.

For example, today under the Latest News section I found these gems:

• Air guitarist loses toe in stage dive
• Kangaroo wallops zookeeper
• Beer marathoners run, drink, vomit

and last but not least

• Passenger tries to open door mid-flight

I know the latter doesn’t sound funny but the story itself is…and it seems so odd next to very heavy world events like Two blasts rock Istanbul, killing 17 and Karadzic appeal not received by court

I forgot to include this one…now this is some terrifying s#*t. Best quote (from his producer): “To be honest, I don’t know why people are buying these video`s?”…and neither do I?!
