To be honest, when I first heard about the violent attack on Ashley Todd, I was appalled. Then when I read that she was in Pittsburgh volunteering for McCain, I was a bit less sympathetic but still felt bad about the whole situation. When I saw her now famous mug shot, all sympathy evaporated into the ether and the rank stench of something fishy filled the immediate vicinity.

That fish was in the shape of a backwards letter B. At first, I thought the webmaster had mirrored the image on accident but as her sorry looking grape appeared on more websites, the fishy smell just got stronger. Why in hell would a mugger carve a backward B onto your face? And as an aside, if you were to muster the strength (sic: mania) to mutilate yourself in that fashion, wouldn’t you take great pains to plan it out all very carefully - so as to realize that as you’re at the mirror slicing a letter into your face, that it is a “MIRROR” image and thus reversed. Apparently not. Leave it to a McPalin supporter.
